Unboxing and First Impressions

The Rode Lavalier Go comes in a compact, professional-looking package. Inside, you'll find the microphone itself, which is a discrete 4.5 mm miniature mic. It includes a handy pouch, a pop shield, and a durable mounting clip. Notably, it doesn’t come with extensive instructions, but its straightforward design makes it easy to use right out of the box. The mic also features a Kevlar-reinforced cable, which adds to its durability.

Setup and Compatibility

Setting up the Rode Lavalier Go is a breeze. It's compatible with the Rode Wireless Go transmission system and has a 3.5 mm TRS jack. Its omnidirectional feature is a significant plus, capturing sound from various angles, which is perfect for a big room setup without echoes.

Performance and Usage

I've been using this microphone extensively and it's my current go-to for most of my videos due to its portability and excellent sound quality. It clips easily onto any shirt and the cord can be hidden, maintaining a neat appearance. I've used it with my Sony ZV-1 camera and an iPhone Pro 15 Max, and the difference in sound quality is remarkable.

When I tested it by unplugging it, the absence of the mic was immediately noticeable with a drop in audio quality. This clearly demonstrates the mic's significant impact on improving sound.

Using with iPhone

To use the Rode Lavalier Go with an iPhone, you need an additional plug (available at Apple stores or electrical retailers) and the Rode SC4 adapter. This setup transforms the iPhone’s audio capability, which I demonstrated in a side-by-side comparison in the video.

Never received it

I never received my purchase

Great watch, great price.

This is a quality wrist watch, not a cheap imitation. It looks just as it is advertised, it keeps impeccable time, and the weight of the watch feels like it should, solid and is an asset to my daily dress wardrobe.

Order missing

Its been almost a month and have not received my order, also haven’t received any updates via email about the tracking etc.

Well I haven't recieved it yet, keeping up with the tracking and hope to get it soon, thanks

Still waiting ............

I was emailed a request by the merchant to rate the ring I purchased three weeks ago. However, I have yet to receive. I am still going to rate my purchase Five stars in hopes that I receive my ring and it looks as good in person as it does in pictures. I realize this item is delivered from China and
hope that’s the reason for its delay. Fingers crossed.
