Unboxing Experience & Design Features

The SoundPEATS Pearl Clip Pro comes in a sleek, compact charging case with a glossy finish. While the surface picks up fingerprints, it looks and feels premium. The earbuds themselves are incredibly light at just 5.85 grams each. Crafted from liquid silicone and memory steel, they clip onto the outer ear without intruding into the ear canal, allowing for a pressure-free fit.

They resemble small wearable tech devices more than traditional earbuds—minimalistic, modern, and subtly stylish. The compact case is pocket-friendly and well-designed for portability.

Setup Simplicity and Smart Features

Pairing the Pearl Clip Pro is seamless with Bluetooth 5.4. Once connected, they maintain a stable connection with minimal latency. They also support multipoint pairing, allowing simultaneous connection to two devices—perfect for switching between a phone and a laptop.

The SoundPEATS app enhances functionality by letting users customize EQ settings, toggle Dynamic EQ, and configure touch gestures. This adds a level of personalization rarely seen in this form factor.

Real-World Testing and Audio Performance

Over the past week, I tested the Pearl Clip Pro during gym workouts, running through Manila’s busy streets, commuting, and during extended work calls. The open-ear design provided excellent environmental awareness, which is crucial in noisy urban areas.

The 16.2mm drivers delivered surprisingly powerful sound for an open design. Mids and vocals were especially clear, making them ideal for podcasts and calls. The bass wasn’t ground-shaking but had enough presence for pop, dance, and light electronic tracks. With Dynamic EQ enabled, the balance felt natural and enjoyable.

Call quality was impressive, thanks to AI noise reduction microphones. In various environments—cafés, streets, and indoors—my voice remained clear to those on the other end.

Comfort and Everyday Use

The biggest strength of the Pearl Clip Pro is comfort. The clip-on mechanism felt secure yet non-intrusive, even during intense physical activity. Whether I was jumping rope, sprinting, or navigating a packed public area, the earbuds stayed in place. They also worked well with hats, helmets, and glasses.

Battery life clocked in at 6 hours on a single charge, with an additional 24 hours from the case. Fast charging support means just 10 minutes gives 2 hours of use—great for those on the go.

Who Should Buy the Pearl Clip Pro?

If you value situational awareness, comfort, and versatility, these earbuds are ideal. Runners, cyclists, commuters, and even office users who dislike traditional in-ear pressure will appreciate their design. The secure fit makes them especially well-suited for active lifestyles.

Comparison to Traditional In-Ear Earbuds

Compared to standard in-ear models, the Pearl Clip Pro offers superior comfort and better environmental awareness. While the bass is slightly less powerful, the clarity, fit, and weightlessness offer distinct advantages, particularly during extended use or physical activities.

Final Verdict

The SoundPEATS Pearl Clip Pro is one of the best open-ear clip-on earbuds I’ve tested to date. It combines excellent comfort, practical features, and sound quality in a unique form factor. While audiophiles seeking deep bass might lean toward sealed in-ear models, these offer a compelling alternative for everyday use.

Never received it

I never received my purchase

Great watch, great price.

This is a quality wrist watch, not a cheap imitation. It looks just as it is advertised, it keeps impeccable time, and the weight of the watch feels like it should, solid and is an asset to my daily dress wardrobe.

Well I haven't recieved it yet, keeping up with the tracking and hope to get it soon, thanks

Still waiting ............

I was emailed a request by the merchant to rate the ring I purchased three weeks ago. However, I have yet to receive. I am still going to rate my purchase Five stars in hopes that I receive my ring and it looks as good in person as it does in pictures. I realize this item is delivered from China and
hope that’s the reason for its delay. Fingers crossed.
